To make a light box or not, may be the question.

I stumbled across this idea. The items that I photograph for my store must be shot during the prime hours of the day - usually when I am cleaning, cooking and once again, being force-fed plastic play food by my daughter. So the question is: Do I make this $10 light box to save time during the day and do my photographing at night?

  1. Natural light wins over light box! You could have the light box for emergency purposes, though... How old is your daughter? I usually take pictures while Liam is napping or during the week-end, when his Dad can keep an eye on him.

  2. I completely agree! Natural light gives every item I photograph life. I guess the light box would be nice to have if I wanted to photograph items with a simple white backdrop.

  3. I have found that taking photos while it's cloudy outside produces the best photos. That way little to no shadow will be caston your objects.
